The goal

Every city has its own secrets: the object of your treasure hunt will vary depending on the city you’re discovering. The ultimate goal of the whaiwhai experience is always one and the same – to have fun and enjoy yourself in whichever city you’re getting to know – but in each place you go, the stories you read will lead you to uncover different secrets each time.
In Venice and in Rome, your treasure is the Ruyi, the magical scepter that Marco Polo stole from Chinese Emperor Kublai Khan before returning to his native Venice. With whaiwhai, your tours of Venice and Rome will be enthralling. The scepter has disappeared along with the legendary traveler’s tomb, but in two extraordinary Italian cities there are indelible clues of the mysterious artifact’s passage. Probably in a new form, the power of the scepter is still alive today, so whoever chooses to search for it takes on an important mission.
In Venice, it all started when secret, obscure papers were recovered by Professor Carlo Dolfin, which he writes about in his prologue to The Ruyi - Venice .
In Rome, the tale of the magic scepter takes a new twist, as it becomes intertwined with even more ancient episodes. Carlo Dolfin hasn’t given up his pursuit: he has discovered that the Ruyi has been transformed .

But whaiwhai isn’t confined to Chinese swords. In Florence, you can immerse yourself in a different kind of story that puts you on a quest for signs and traces of extraterrestrials. In the capital of the Renaissance, you’ll be led through mysterious paths that swing back and forth from past to future, from history to science fiction . And in Verona, your guide will be Eros, who will let you discover the places that have made this city the scene of splendid love stories and the home of lovers. You’ll search for signs of the winged god’s passage in the streets and squares of Verona.
