Flaminio is the first neighborhood in Rome and is located in the northern area of the city, beside the Aurelian Walls and between the left side of via Flaminia and the Tiber river.

During the last decade this has become one of the most intellectual and elegant areas of Rome.

It's a cultural centre of attraction with its many theatres, museums like the MAXXI - National Museum of the 21st Century Arts - that is a national museum dedicated to contemporary creativity; and then multicultural centre like the Auditorium where the Rome International Film Festival takes place every year at the end of October.

Flaminio area is well connected to the Historical Center, thanks to the trolley that goes from Piazza Mancini to Piazzale Flaminio (Piazza del Popolo) in less than 10 minutes.
