Ca San Sebastiano Monferrato - Piemonte	Situated in a typical village in Monferrato, a land where rural traditions are still alive, this country home - recently opened - has been completely restored following strict criteria in terms of old material recovery: old typical cotto tiles for the floors and "tufo" stones for the façade. The four apartments available, of different sizes and characteristics, have been decorated with strong, warm colours to obtain an intimate and informal atmosphere: each apartment has its own fireplace, besides the independent heating.
	The ceilings have all been beautifully restored, descovering more than one layer of different frescos according to the different ages of the house (the oldest part of it dating back to 1600). All the apartments are big and very comfortable, therefore also suitable for a long stays.
They are fully equipped and furnished with charming and old pieces, the kitchen can be properly used and bed and bath linen are at disposal, as well as children equipment. Parking available in the courtyard. The house also features a common area, a charming place where guests can have their breakfast or simply relax in friont of the big chimney while tasting a good glass of the famous Piemonte wines that the owners - on demand - will offer from the production cellars they run nearby. The wines are the famous Monferrato Casalese's Barbera and Grignolino, along with other more particular products, such as the "Gioanot" (a Barbera wine refined in barriques, strong and full) or the "Armugnac" (Cortese wine aged in a rare barrel, hand made by one of the last artisans with wild apricot wood).
A glass of a good wine will always be accompanied by an accurate choice of runique, local cheese and salami, or other typical products of the area. If you are looking for a typical restaurant, the owners will be glad to reccommend you the most authentic and convenient places. This house is the ideal place for those who love country living, the hills, the silence, the long walks and wish to stay away from the rush and the stress of the city life. But, in spite of this, many are the activities that we can suggest to our guests. On demand, short guided tours can also be arranged. The best periods for better appreciate the area : april/may (blossoming) september/october (grape harvest) november for the truffle feasts.
