Lago di Bracciano e Trevignano Romano

A picturesque village on the northern shores of Lake Bracciano, about 40-50 kilometres north of Rome. It is built on a basalt cliff at the end of a small bay, a secondary crater of an ancient volcano.

There is a delightful small mediaeval quarter and a tree-lined lakeside road which stretches for about three kilometres with many bars and restaurants in sight of the lake.

Trevignano Romano in the so called "Tuscia romana" is an ideal centre for trips in a region of great tourist, artistic and natural interest.

Apart from Rome (45 km), the following places of interest can be easily reached from Trevignano: Cerveteri (30 km), Bracciano (12 km), Sutri (12 km), Viterbo (45 km), Tarquinia (61 km), Tuscania (52 km), Caprarola (25 km), the hills of Tolfa and other attractive places.
