A picturesque village on the northern shores of Lake Bracciano, about 40-50 kilometres north of Rome. It is built on a basalt cliff at the end of a small bay, a secondary crater of an ancient volcano. There is a delightful small mediaeval quarter and a tree-lined lakeside road which stretches for about three kilometres with many bars and restaurants in sight of the lake. |
