Great location, perfect for a large group
The apartment was exactly as advertised. Sleep in Italy were great. Answered any of our question promptly. The location was a five minute walk to the Vatican. The bus was right outside, and lots of cafe's close by. We loved the coffee machine!! Our group of ten never felt crowded. Lots of room. We would definatley recommend the Gregorio Flower to anyone looking for a place to stay in Rome.

Apartment wonderful but.....
While driving to the apartment I noticed a lot of graffiti and that made me nervous, but after arriving to the apt. we walked the area and found it to be safe.A mix of business and residents. Streets are very busy and noisey, but once you are in the apt. the noise level goes down alot. We arrived early, and the owner was nice enough to let us in. (Thank you for that, after flying 16 hours). At the time we made our reservation,it stated in the description that there was a doorman. We liked that idea, because if we needed help or had questions we could ask. No doorman(he retired before we arrived, according to Sleep in Italy. There is no phones in the apt.to call for any type of medical emergency. So bring a international cell phone. The apt. was very large and had all the things to make it your home. A nice touch, a bottle of wine from the owners. We could easily live there for months.Very clean and cozy. I had a hard time figuring out the combo washer/dryer.The shower stalls were a little tight. Appox. 20"x20".Vatican a 20 min walk. There is a market and a fresh food deli walking distance.Taxi's seem to charge different fares to and from the Vatican.Maybe it depends on the time of day. We visited Florence,Pisa and Seinna. We also bought a euro pass and made our train reservations though a travel agent before leaving home. We will probally won't be back to Italy, but enjoyed it very much. Esp. the Audience with the Pope, that made it the worth the trip. Check out went very easy,as the owners arrived on time and we were on our way to the airport. One more thing,I wasn't real happy working with the "Sleep in Italy" people or the Flipkey company. I don't like the idea that you have to be "invited" to leave comments, unlike the travel advisor.
