Guestbook

It would have been a plus to have had an Englih TV cable news channel like the BBC or CNN, but after a day or so we did not seem to miss it.
As we visited in Summer we were concerned about the AC which proved to be more than sufficient to keep the apartment very comfortable even on 90+ degree days.
We were met by the representive from Sleep in Italy and he could not of been more efficient and helpful.
We would book this apartment again without hesitation.

Nice apartment!
This was a nice apartment. This was maybe my 15th time to Rome and I know the streets so well. The lacation was perfect ina quiet small narrow street.
We arrived late so just across the narrow street is Ristorante Pier Luigi where we had our first evening dinner. It is a nice restaurant favoured by locals. It has outdoor tables in a cosy piazza with frescoed buildings around it.
The apartment was on the 5th floor. We were 5 women and we all fitted into the small elevator. But there was then space for nothing else like shopping bags.
The apartment was nicely decorated and had a small terrace/balcony. The only problem was that it was very hard to lock the terrace door. It really needed strenght and time to close it. Even from the guy who came to show 'us women' how to close it. Ha, it took some time from him also!!! But the surroundings and the inner yard was very safe so it was not a problem that one day the door was not locked.
From the room with big bed there was a view to a building and terrace kitchen where some nuns were living and cooking. It really gave some atmosphere.
I have used Sleep In Italy many times and every time it has worked so well. No problems at all!!!
I shall return and hopefully soon!!!
with kind regards,
Ulla

Spacious, well-equipped apartment home
My husband and I plus my sister stayed in the home for 2 nights. We found the apartment to be quite suitable for our needs. Two bedrooms and two separate bathrooms was perfect. We had easy access to the grocery store so we ate breakfast together in the apartment both mornings and even one dinner. All the amenities were there in the kitchen for us to cook a fully-fledged breakfast. We were unexpectedly caught in a lightning storm so we were happy to have access to laundry facilities including ironing board when we got back from sightseeing. The apartment was within easy walking distance of a few main sites but also on a good bus route. The only downside was that the elevator was broken when we arrived so we had to haul all of our luggage up 4 flights of stairs in very hot and humid conditions. By the time we left 2 days later, thankfully, the elevator was fixed. We would definitely stay there again.

It was overall a great experience.
I rented the apt for 10 days in June for myself & 3 adult children. We were very pleased with the apt. It is spacious & charming. The location is great very cental & close to everything!Thank goodness for the air conditioning as it was very hot in Rome at that time. The negatives are: inconvenient washer location it was almost impossible to do the laundry in the cramped loft with very low ceiling & we would have liked an English channel on the TV such as BBC or CNN. Otherwise it was really all we could have asked for. I will contact sleepinitaly again in the future. Thank you.
